We all know Trader Joe’s is the bomb for grocery shopping!
I’ve come to find they also have a couple great beauty products as well!
So, I’m sharing the two holy grail products from them I can’t live without!
Face Wash with Tea Tree Oil
This is by far the best face wash I’ve used to clear up my “adult” acne. Last year, my skin started to change. It was becoming more oily, but dry at the same time. I was breaking out more consistently than ever before. I couldn’t take it any more, so I had to change all the face makeup products I used and also my skin care products.
I first started using tree tea oil for spot treatments. No joke, my pimples would be gone the next day. I figured if I was seeing results with the tree tea oil on my pimples, then I should find a face wash that contains it as well to treat my entire face. Originally, I was using a product from Amazon that was absolutely amazing. However, I was getting tired of having to order it online and wait for it. I was dying to find a product that I could just pick up locally.
I was strolling through the aisles of Trader Joe’s one day and noticed they had a beauty section. To my surprise, I saw the face wash! It was like finding gold. I was a little hesitant on changing face washes since my skin was so sensitive at the time. Literally, any little thing I did made me break out. It was insane. Luckily, the product was very gentle, so I didn’t end up having any major breakouts thankfully! After trying it out that night I haven’t turned back since.
Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
I actually use this coconut oil on my eyelids to help my eyelash hair grow. In a previous blog post earlier this year, I mentioned that I’m allergic to regular mascara and have to use organic eye products. If I use regular mascara, then my eyelash hairs fall out and stop growing. The organic products help sustain them.
At least once a year though, one small area on one of my eyelids decides to stop growing for a couple months. This normally occurs during the summer into fall transition. Not sure if the weather change has anything to do with it, but it drives me crazy! This year, I really didn’t want to go a couple months without eyelash hair so I had to think of a natural way to get them to grow back.
I’ve heard a few people say that coconut oil is a natural moisturizer and helps hair growth. So, one night after washing my face I cracked open a jar of this coconut oil and lathered it all over both of my eye lids. We already had this in our pantry since Steven uses it to cook! LOL Anyhow, over a course of just two days I noticed my eyelash hairs were slowly growing back. It only took about a week for them to grow full length.
If you end up trying either of these products out, then let me know!
I hope they work just as good for you as they have for me!
Thanks for stopping by!
